Position and experience:

Samuel Day is the founder and Managing Director
of Happening People (1996). He has consulted with thousands of
people in large organisations for more than twelve years.
His wide industry experience includes; finance,
pharmaceuticals , health, banking, telecommunications, insurance,
, retail, media, publishing, HR and the public sector.
His Company has worked with more than 25% of Australia’s top 100
companies and more than 1 in 500 working Australian’s has attended
a Happening People corporate training program.

Professional Development:
|
Sam remains at the forefront of business and consulting
having recently completed a Master’s
Degree in business administration (MBA). Sam is a
practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and is
accredited in psychological testing - Myers Briggs Type
Indicator (MBTI) and DiSC behavioural profiling. He
holds Certificate IV in training and development endorsed
by VETAB (Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board)
and has a Masters of Executive Coaching. All this combined
with professional development with The University of Technology
Sydney (UTS), Southern Cross University (SCU),
University of Oxford, and The University of Sydney
gives Sam excellent capabilities to make his consulting effective
and to manage a dynamic company.

Media and Published:

Sam has been sought for comment by the Sydney Morning
Herald (Sydney – Discussing Mentoring), The Herald Sun
(Melbourne – Discussing Sales), Courier Mail (Brisbane –
workplace cultures) and published in Training Today (AITD -
national trade journal – Aligning Values to Organisational
Results). His motivational book of quotes Motivate Move and
Make It was released in March 2001.
He has made guest appearances on radio 2GB (discussing
effective customer service) and 88FM Bondi Beach discussing
(various organisational cultural issues, the workplace, politics
and life).
He has also featured regularly with a column in the weekly
magazine Nine to Five which has one of Australia’s highest
distributions.
